This month it is the late glam rock Icon Marc Bolan (B 30/9/1947; Died 16/9/1977).

We have some very rare Bolan memorabilia on the Bolan feature as well as albums (on our Discogs store).

September is a sad month for artist deaths, this includes Jimi Hendrix, Keith Moon (The Who), Warren Zevon, (Werewolves of London), Rick Davies (Supertramp), Johnny Cash, Johnny Ramone (The Ramones), Rick Wright (Pink Floyd), John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Cliff Burton (Metallica) amongst many others. We have many albums by these artists in stock.

Marc Bolan feature

Marc Bolan was born 18/9/1947 so this year he would have been 79 years old. However, he sadly died as a passenger in a car crash on 30/9/1977. The car was driven by his partner American Soul singer Gloria Jones, also the mother of his son, Rolan.
